    This site provides a gateway to a great deal of information, advice and resources for those in the UK who are actively involved and interested in Christian work throughout the world.

  • Web Link Global Connections

    Global Connections is a growing, vibrant network of UK agencies, churches, colleges and support services. Together, they seek to serve, equip and develop churches in their mission in order to fulfil a shared vision of "mission at the heart of the church, the church at the heart of mission". Members are drawn from organisations working in countries all over the world. Using this wealth of experience and expertise, Global Connections seeks to address the key, on-going challenges and changes in its worldwide mission.

    The Joshua Project is a research initiative seeking to highlight the ethnic people groups of the world with the least followers of Jesus Christ.

    This is a resource provided by Global Connections. It provides information on topics that need our prayers, by country, region or a list of issues.

    What makes this site interesting and special is that it offers a contemporary version of the Bible in English, entirely free of copyright restrictions.

    Tyndale House is committed to supporting Biblical research by providing electronic resources necessary for the task, without payment whenever possible.

  • Web Link Bible Gateway

    Bible Gateway seeks to equip people to read and understand the Bible wherever they are. Millions of visitors from more than two hundred countries regularly come to read, hear, search, study, compare, or share the Bible in over seventy languages more than two hundred versions. It can be accessed for free and includes blogs, newsletters, reading plans and an award-winning Bible app.

    Since its start in 1996, the purpose of LifeChurch.tv has been to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. In doing so, they have looked for new ways to help people connect the Bible to their daily lives. This site offers various versions of the Bible online.

  • Web Link Useful Bible

    This is a simple site that offers short articles and commentaries on books of the Bible. The author, Keith Simons, is a long-standing member of MissionAssist.

  • Web Link ITconnect

    This web site has been set up to connect Christian organisations providing Information Technology (IT) support to the field. It has various groups for those with specific interests and general areas for discussion, online chat and blogs. Please note that you have to register if you wish to participate.

  • Web Link Association le Bon Berger

    The Good Shepherd Association provides a comprehensive structure for the social and spiritual well-being of children in the Eastern Region of Burkina Faso. Please note that this website is presented entirely in the French language. The site was developed by MissionAssist for, and on behalf of, Mission Africa, a Christian organization based in the UK.

  • English Conversation Volunteers - Host conversations via video conferencing (Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, etc.) to help others improve their fluency in spoken English.
  • Magazine Service - Subscribers - Either send on your magazine, comic or journal that you would otherwise put into the (paper recycling) bin, or start a subscription (paper or electronic) specifically requested by a mission worker.
  • Keyboarders - To find out more take a look at our Keyboarding Taster.
  • Events Administrator - Make all the arrangements for our exhibition stand at Keswick and other such events each year.
  • Spanish Translators - Translators needed for English-Spanish translation and a mother tongue Spanish translator would be especially welcome.
  • IT expertise - Enquiries welcome from people with experience in technology such as Microsoft 365 admin, CiviCRM, Drupal, WordPress, Unicode, Paratext and the Digital Bible Library (DBL).
  • Illustrators - Create realistic line drawings to communicate an idea clearly, to illustrate short literacy booklets.
  • Head of Digital Media - Oversee and develop the online presence of MissionAssist.
  • Director of Partnerships - Provide oversight of both formal and informal relationships linking MissionAssist and partner organisations.
  • Head of Marketing - Raise awareness of MissionAssist, its services and resources, amongst those who can contribute and those who can benefit.
  • E-Learning Developer - Design and deliver online resources to enable home-based volunteers to build up their knowledge and skills.
  • EasyEnglish Partnerships Coordinator - Experience of client management and contracts, plus an interest in resourcing world mission.
  • Trustees - Enquiries particularly welcome from people who have prior experience as an effective trustee, and/or recent experience in overseas mission, or younger people who have a passion for worldwide mission and Bible translation.
